It's finally here! I love the annual sale at the Wynd Gallery, it always has a wonderful buzz about it - the gallery is full to bursting, the days are getting a little longer and all of the artwork is on special offer, it just has a lovely optimistic vibe!
I have about twenty pieces in the show this year, from smaller landscape studies to some larger floral pieces that are very bright and impasto !

A little landscape study on canvas board - I use these as reference for my larger canvas landscapes which usually end up with a lot more texture that the studies!
Hopefully I can make some room for the new pieces that I'm working on - I've hit on the idea (inspired by the great Gustav Klimt) of turning my landscape paintings into giant animals ! I plan to make a series of them and my brain is fizzing a bit at the moment!
